Staying Swim Fit During the Covid-19 Crisis

Many of us swimmers are anxious about our level of fitness declining, whilst swimming pools remain closed due to the Corona-19 virus.

Whilst there is nothing like getting in the pool, there are some things you can do on dry land to maintain your fitness levels, for when we are able to dive in again.

There are some useful resources available to you online, with information on the types of exercises you can do, which will help you retain your fitness levels.

Masters Swimming Queensland has created the COVID-19 Hub to help swimmers through this difficult time. You can access the Hub by clicking HERE.

Brenton Ford at Effortless Swimming has also posted some useful videos on Facebook such as this one:

10 Things To Do While Your Pool Is Closed

Of course, we will be in touch with club members as soon as the restrictions are eased to allow swimming club activities to resume.

If you are not a member of the club and would like to come along and try us out, click HERE so that we can include you in the mailing list.
