We can swim again

As a result of Queensland moving to step 2 in the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, Moreton Bay Regonal Council re-opened some pools. Restrictions at most of the pools have now been eased.

Club training will not resume until we reach step 3 in the lifting of restrictions.

You can see which pools are open by clicking on the following link:

You no longer need to book a lane in advance and the swimming time restriction has been lifted.

You will be asked to sign in and out of the pool, leaving your contact details for contact tracing purposes.

Please observe social distancing rules while you are at the pool.

The club has made swimming programmes available for download to all club members, so they can take them along to the pool.

The swimming club will contact members as soon as we have a date for recommencing training.

Initially we won't be able to use the Redcliffe War Memorial Pool, as it is currently closed for essential maintenance works, which are unlikely to be completed by the time we resume training.

We are investigating alternative arrangements and will advise club members of what these will be nearer the time.
